Eden Hotel

Leif’s take: An oasis-like complex with hotel, chalet and bungalow style rooms. It’s well-furnished, including large bathrooms with hydro-massage tubs. Service is first-rate and the restaurant excellent.

Zimbru Hotel

Leif’s take: This is your typical state-run 10-storey concrete block that has characterless rooms, with paradoxically great beds and decidedly non-state-run friendly service.
